Coach Dimi lives for tennis. He has an eye for the highest value of holistic tennis training. With decades of experience in regional tennis as well as on an international level, he instantly recognizes the current state of a player at the appropriate level and has a clear idea of how to take the player to a higher level. Tennis is no longer a one-sided "feeding out of the basket" or "pure baseline training" by neglecting the point-opening patterns like serve + and return +. Tennis has developed in recent years, physically, technically, mentally and tactically. It's important to look closely at the strengths that exist in these four key areas in order to continue to develop them so that the player is in charge of powerful weapons for his game. Similarly, deficits must be worked up. As we are exaggerated in a "digital world" today, motor skills have regressed in many ways. The youth does not spend much time outside anymore and their solutions in the three-dimensional space in form of motion solutions are poor developed . Here, it is important to practice the young people in terms of quick decision-making, movement solution and anticipation to get fit again, so that the quick action and reacting in fractions of seconds on the tennis court can develop excellent. The mental aspect is the center of a player's development. If the player is bad at dealing with frustration , motor skills under pressure are called off very quickly. Here mental training is the putty that holds together the mosaic of stroke technique, athletics, shot selection and tactics. For Coach Dimi the observation of a player on a tournament or practice match is the Alpha and Omega for getting a precise overview of the current state, collecting necessary information in turn to produce new training impulses, so the transfer strength (conversion of the training content into the match ) of the player can continue to be excellently worked. Coach Dimi offers training for regional tournament players, team players and international tournament players. Internationally, Dimitrios Katsanos has built up a wide coaches network and is in constant exchange in terms of “modern tennis" so that training can be adequately implemented at any level.
